Hello my crafty friends! We love, love, love this time of the year. We took a break in January, but were busy improving our website by adding more features to our shops, add better navigation to craft show and craft website directories. We are ready to start the new year with our Valentine's Day issue.
This month, we began collecting subscribers for our newest ezine -- Craft Show Talk Ezine. Subscribers can receive updates on new craft shows available in their given state as well as interesting craft show topics. Many improvements to our craft show directory will provide more opportunities to craft show promoters without raising our very low fee of $2.95 per listing. |

| When brainstorming for a way to make an authentic looking Princess and the Frog Valentine mailbox, we found this unbelievable coloring pages blog that provides printable pages of all of the Disney princesses from Tiana to Cinderella to Belle. We plan to incorporate these pages into a few other crafty ideas this year, including a Princess golfing set. [ Link ]. |

| We are happy to announce that our December and January contest winners are Jessica from Florida and Melissa from Illinois. Many new and creative young artists have entered this month and are already actively competing! We are still working out the details of our poster calendar sale for charity. We hope to start this new project this Summer. |
| | What's In The Next Issue : |
| In our next issue, we are happy to introduce two new shops. We will soon be offering quilted kitchen accessories, such as tater baker bags, and equisite handmade jewelry. We have more shops that we hope to open up by this Summer. We want to continue to offer a personal touch by having all orders process through us and a direct relationship with our crafters. This is the only way we can verify that the products we sell through our website are handmade in home workshops here in America. |

La Soap! - Lydia Webb added more products to her shop. Now you can order her famous flower petals dipped in glycerin signature recipe in her online shop, only $5.00 for a set of 20 petals. More whimsical shaped soaps including a new Carribean collection complete with sea shells, palm trees were added as well. Next to be added are Lydia's famous bath teas.

| Art of Love - How Do Different Cultures Express Love Through Art? |
Lovers from around the world express affection for each other by creating art as symbolic gestures when performing marriage proposals, exchanging vows at weddings, and even when mourning the death of a spouse. We have compiled a list of traditions celebrated in different countries that lovers celebrate in order to express their love for each other. These timeless traditions prove that the power of love flourishes through the creativity of the mind and spirit.
Finnish Brides Crown The Next Generation With Love:
In Finland, brides traditionally walk down the isle to marry their prince wearing a decorative crown. Traditionally, the crown's rim is made of brass to fit her head, with the facing portion made of silver or gold and garnished with precious stones. At the wedding reception, the ladies form a circle. Holding the coveted crown, the bride spins around many times. When the bride stops, she crowns the lucky lady standing in front of her. This newly crowned maiden will be the next bride-to-be. Families form a sense of pride around these cherished family heirlooms. It is not uncommon for multiple generations of brides to wear the same elegant crown.
May Trees of Germany :
Single ladies in the Rhineland of Germany expect their suitors to set up a birch tree decorated with hearts and crepe paper in front of their house. This tradition started as a village auction to promote marriage dating back to the 17th century called Mailehenbrauch. Young men join friends on April 30 to chop down their May trees. Then on May 1st, the men set up the trees while their ladies in waiting gather in the town square for a festival.
